Contactless security scanners are being installed at Disneyland Resort. We saw some at the Downtown Disney District entrance this weekend, now they have arrived at the parking structure entrance.
Security officers are still checking bags before guests go through the scanners.
Right now, there are just two Evolv scanners set up at one end, while the rest of the security area is using metal detectors.
With these scanners, guests are instructed to walk through carrying their bags without stopping.
The scanners have been in use at Walt Disney World for the past year and were tested at Downtown Disney District last fall.
