It’s been a few days since we last checked in on the Monorail station and Great Ceremonial House entrance at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and the painting looks to be nearing completion.
As we approach the porte cochère, we can see how the work is quickly coming together.
Some roofing work continues on the left side of the Monorail station.
Working our way over to the right side of the monorail station, we see that the concrete columns that were bare just two days ago are now fully painted.
The resort monorails continue to speed through while refurbishment continues.
Toward the back of the station, a few areas are still primed and awaiting brown paint.

So looking forward to seeing the completed monorail station at the Polynesian. We always stay at the Polynesian and catching a morning monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom has always been a big part of the attraction for staying there. We plan to be there in October and very much looking forward to seeing all the improvements for the 50th anniversary.

The paint is very colorful and looks great. The thatching however, looks really thin. I hope they will be adding more layers.
