Less than a week before the debut of Disney Genie and Genie+ at Walt Disney World, the Lightning Lane sign has been removed from “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom.

The “it’s a small world” sign was one of the first we saw, replacing the previous FastPass+ sign. By replace, we mean they slapped a decal on it.

The entire pink valance has been removed from the old FastPass+ entrance, indicating a new piece will likely be installed.

The picture above shows the Lightning Lane sign, and how the new decal stood out as a different shade of pink from the rest of the valance.

Presumably, Disney is fixing the sign or creating a new sign that looks a little nicer. It’s also possible the sign was damaged and needed replacement.

  1. good grief. anyone that would pay to skip the basically non-existent wait time at small world deserves their fleecing by cheapact i guess.
