After being absent last year, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade has stepped off once again tonight at the Magic Kingdom as part of Disney Very Merriest After Hours.
Guests lined the route to welcome back the parade, the first full one to return to Walt Disney World since the resort shut down for several months in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse, all decked out in their seasonal apparel, appear at the start on their Christmas tree float.
Other floats include characters such as Woody and Jessie from Toy Story.
Elsa and Arendelle’s beloved snowman Olaf also join the chilly festivities.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without gingerbread men!
And finally, Santa Claus rides his sleigh, reminding guests that Christmas is soon upon us.
If you’re super-excited for the holidays, you can watch the whole parade in our video below:
The parade runs from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A. nightly during the upcharge event at 9:45 PM and 12:05 AM.
Other entertainment offerings include the brand-new Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories show, the returning Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, western music from the Reindeer Wranglers and plenty of tunes at the Club Tinsel Dance Party.
