Magic Kingdom
- We finally have dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
- A new “Frozen”-themed castle projection show to light Cinderella Castle in new holiday projections will be part of this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
- TRON Lightcycle / Run will still require virtual queue during these upcharge events.
EPCOT
- As expected, the Candlelight Processional will return to EPCOT this year along with the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
- The character breakfast has returned to Garden Grill Restaurant in The Land, part of World Nature.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- A new hard ticket Disney Jollywood Nights event is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this fall.
- We also have new concept art, including the reveal that Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will host a holiday special during the event.
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will require virtual queue during Jollywood Nights as well.
- There will also be a “The Nightmare Before Christmas” sing-along, and we know more about the Tower of Terror soiree as well.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Some baby cotton-tip tamarins were born this week at the park.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Florida Residents can save up to 35% on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms in late 2023.
- Discounts are now also available for Disney+ subscribers.
- Meanwhile all guests can save up to 25% on rooms from October to December this year.
- Finally, Annual Passholders can save up to 40% on their rooms late this year.
- Construction lifts have arrived in the main building of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for guest room refurbishment.
Other Walt Disney World Resort News
- Special holiday offerings like the Merry Menagerie, the Tower of Terror projections, and much more will return this holiday season.
Disneyland Resort
- A new Goofy & Max fishing sipper has come to Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland.
- There’s also a Pride mirrored sipper on sale.
- We got to meet the “Hercules” Muses as well as other classic characters in special costumes during Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite.
- Stairs and scaffolding are now up around Splash Mountain as the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure transformation begins.
Entertainment & Media
- Big news, 28 restored classic Disney shorts will come to Disney+ over the coming months.

- Apparel for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is now available to all guests on shopDisney.
- The previously-announced Hey Disney! Alexa voice assistant is now available on Amazon Echo devices in the US.
