Chicken Dumplings with House-Made Sweet-and-Spicy Sauce – $5.75

These were chewy and overcooked. They didn’t have a lot of flavor from the filling. For as much red “spicy” sauce is on the outside, it’s not very spicy. Otherwise, the sauce is good, with a little chili flavor.

Smoked Duck Bao Bun with Pickled Cucumber, Scallion, and Hoisin Sauce – $8.25

This was a little small for $8.25, but it’s a decent item. The meat is nice and tender, but it’s also flavorless. All we tasted was the Hoisin sauce, so if you like that flavor, then this could be a good option for you. The bao is cooked well and soft, but we’d probably skip this for the price.

*NEW* Beijing Zhajiang Noodles with Stir-Fried Minced Beef, Cucumber, Chili, and Carrots in a Savory Douban Sauce – $8.50

The minced beef is very well seasoned, but there is not much of it to be had. The noodles are also very salty and oily. Overall, this is a very forgettable dish.

Mango Peach Bubble Tea: Green Tea, Mango and Peach Syrups, and White Boba – $8.25

This drink is the best new item from this booth. If you like peach, you’re going to love this. If you don’t like peach, you’re going to hate this. It was very refreshing.

Brew Hub Lychee Foo Draft Beer, Lakeland, FL (6.0% ABV) – $6.00 for 6 oz., $10.75 for 12 oz.
According to Untappd, this is “an American India Pale Ale brewed with 2-Row, crystal malts and dry hopped with Simcoe hops and conditioned on lychee.”
Baijiu Punch: Baijiu Spirit, Lychee Syrup, Soda Water, and Piña Colada Mix – $14.50

This is one of the most refreshing drinks of the festival, with subtle hints of the featured flavors. Nothing is overpowering, and the alcohol pour is relatively heavy. It’s a solid choice.

*NEW* Hainan Prosperity: Tequila, Vodka, Minute Maid® Orange Juice, and Mango Syrup – $14.50

This is exactly what it say it is: tequila, vodka, Minute Maid Orange Juice, and mango syrup. The basic flavor comes from the orange and mango juices, but overall this is nothing special.

*NEW* Frozen Strawberry-Jasmine Cocktail: Light Rum, Jasmine Tea, and Strawberry Syrup – $14.25

This is a very juice-forward drink with a natural strawberry flavor. There is a slight taste of the jasmine tea and rum for an overall refreshing drink. However, it is not necessarily something we would say is a must get for the festival.
