While this comes with butter to dip in, the roll does not need it. This was very good. The lobster was great and not fishy tasting at all.

This was okay. It has a nice spice and smoky flavor, and the beef was also tender.

This is a good chocolate lava cake although we’ve never had a bad one. It instantly melts in your mouth. It has a rich dark chocolate flavor. The bourbon caramel sauce is a perfect accompaniment. It’s not ideal for Labor Day weekend weather but it will be the perfect dessert in 6 – 8 weeks.

*NEW* Harpoon Brewery Flannel Friday Hoppy Amber Ale, Boston, MA (5.7% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From Harpoon Brewery: “American hops combine with subtle notes of caramel and roast in this seasonal Amber Ale. Teetering somewhere between a Brown Ale and a Red IPA but balanced and easy-drinking, Flannel Friday is our tribute to fall in New England. The sun is bright but the air is crisp—its time to layer up and crack a beer.”

*NEW* von Trapp Brewing Natür Helles Lager, Stowe, VT (4.9% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From von Trapp Brewing: “Brewed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the von Trapp Family Lodge and Resort, this beer is an unfiltered or ‘natural’ version of our flagship Helles lager. Packaged directly from the fermentation cellar, this beer is presented as enjoyed by our brewers: softer carbonation, fuller bodied with a round malt aroma, distinct hop balance, and subtle yeast character with its signature crisp and refreshing finish.”

Beer Flight: $10.25

The Pumpkin Cheesecake Blonde was disappointing with a medicinal flavor (Rating: 3/7). The Helles Lager was slightly better and just okay (Rating: 4/7). The Amber Ale was divisive. It was not extremely hoppy, but again, it was just okay (Rating: 4/7).
