The refurbishment of Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk has been extended. The restaurant closed on June 11 and was scheduled to reopen on June 18, but will now reopen in “late June.”
An exact date has not been announced. The BoardWalk Pizza Window will also be closed through late June, but a temporary location is open nearby.
Guests can still make breakfast reservations at Trattoria al Forno during the closure, but they are dining at Flying Fish.
The lobby of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn was remodeled earlier this year with minimal changes. In December 2022, the new Carousel Coffee shop and seating area opened, replacing Dundy’s Sundries, which closed permanently in October. Decorations continued to be added over the following weeks.
The Cake Bake Shop, a new table-service restaurant and quick-service bakery, is under construction on the BoardWalk. The funnel cake stand was also recently being updated.
