The show “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be dark for two weeks in September.
The show will not perform September 13th-September 26th, 2017, but will return on the 27th.
This is not the first extended downtime the show has had this year.
Tom,
Any idea if they’ll have the characters around for photo ops due to the show being down? Would be the least they could do.
We have the dessert party planned for that night, confirmed and the website still shows it’s a go, plus they are still selling tickets for the party, How sure are you?
Oh never mind, I re read it, it’s not the party or the fireworks, its the show…. sorry….
It’s a shame they don’t close it for good. They finally got rid of that cheap plastic hat, just to block the view of the Chinese Theater with a stage that houses a disjointed show that features characters that didn’t exist in the same time period on stage together, doing random things that have no purpose, using cheap lightsaber toys you can buy at a WalMart. Come on Disney. If you are going to have this “show”, at least do it right. Make it cohesive, use high quality lightsaber replicas instead of cheap plastic toys, and for god sakes…move it out of the way of the theater!
agree D J standing in the fla. heat for this show has got to be torture .funny darth vader got the loudest applause.
I guess since I go on the only green earmark week I should be used to this. 14 days..
I just contacted Disney, and they informed me that the show is going on now thru 9/30. Are you sure this is right?
