Baseline Tap House opened today on Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in (according to the storyline) an abandoned L.A. printing company that once worked with the Walt Disney Studios in the 1950’s. Here’s a short tour of the new bar and lounge:

We begin with a video tour:

Baseline Tap House is now open from 11am until park close daily at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We missed the opening by 3 days :( Looks great! Can’t wait to check it out on our next visit.

Not a bad looking place, kind of average with the theming. Not thrilled on the California theming, but I’m sure I will partake in a beverage next trip.

Did anyone notice that the sign letters from the writer’s stop are on the shelves behind the bar?

Speaking of Baseline and the idiotic bad idea from the current Disney management of bringing Pleasure Island problems to the parks, a bunch of “Celebrity Athletes” had to be escorted out of Epcot due to altercations with other guests & Disney personnel while intoxicated.

I’m sure they’ll just blow it off and keep selling lotsa booze & adding more places to sell them inside the parks. Money is money and we gotta keep that revenue stream up, no matter if people get rowdy, disruptive & destructive.
