Also debuting today inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a preview of the upcoming “Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway” attraction, replacing the Great Movie Ride inside of the Chinese Theater.

Just across from the Star Wars” Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land models, guests will find this display.

Most of the display just shows scenes from the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts.

This picture shows an Imagineer working on the “2.5 D” backdrops that will make up a majority of the ride.

For those worried the ride would be only projection-based, here is an Imagineer working on what appears to be a maquette of a set of audio-animatronic Mickey and Minnie figures inside of a car, just like on the attraction poster.

No, your eyes do not deceive you, those are clearly “Subscribe Here” buttons since these images were just ripped from YouTube… I do hope they fix these…

No exact opening date has been announced for this attraction as of yet.

  1. “Subscribe here”

Wow, that’s embarrassing on a poster for a 4th grade science project. For Disney, it’s just… wow.

  2. In this comment section: Grown men who think their opinion on a theme park ride outweighs that of the children it’s made for.

Nothing sad to see here. Nothing at all….

      • “And also a place for lonely, childless, overweight single men who can’t move past their childhood traumas and direct all their hatred of themselves at a place they obsess over while trying to rewrite their past”

        • I really hope Disney is paying you extra for all the time you spend on here little Disney Intern. Or do you just do this pro bono out of the blandness of your heart?

    • In this comment section: A grown man who thinks his opinions outweigh the opinions of the other grown men that visit the same website devoted to theme park rides that are made for children as him.

      • And above we see a triggered shut-in completely missing the point because of his stunted emotional growth. Thanks for chiming in from the library computer, now move on, there’s another homeless man who needs to rant like a crazy person in a comments section.

  3. “This is one of the boldest…most impossible things…it’s going to be game-changing.”

Is it just me or could that be a Donald Trump tweet?

  4. FANTASTIC, in the end, Disney Co. is starting to understand that those ugly-uncomfortable 3D glasses, destroy ALL of the would be make belief ! … :-) …
The combined real life setbuilding in Ratatouille (DL Paris) + the 3D screen projections, is the most fatally stupid error ever mady by Disney, in an expensive E-ticket attraction…
I THINK they leared from it. In Paris anyway, the fatal physiologic spectators perception error is too expensive to change… (The real environment is BLURRED fatally with the glasses ON, while the 3D-video is BLURRED fatally with the glasses OFF… It’s a collision of basic sight physiology opposites, and they could have known it…

  5. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the zany adventure somehow had them changing into past versions of themselves through the years?
