After months of work, some of the new exterior seating and completely remodeled restrooms have debuted at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom.

Benches against the building accompany tables and chairs for the new outdoor seating area.

A new wheelchair ramp in place.

The large sign advertising the bays was removed.

Cosmic Ray’s has notoriously had some of the worst restrooms at Walt Disney World over the years. Thankfully, they were completely remodeled and are even well-themed to Tomorrowland.

The entry area of both restrooms has a pretty neat light-up panel obscuring the view.

Please note that these photos were taken early in the morning after we made sure no one was using them.

  1. Did you happen to notice if they have a family restroom there? Could not remember if there was one before. (I travel alone with special needs adult son, I prefer not to bring him in ladies rooms). Thanks and nice photos.

  2. Sir, would you like to explain to us why a grown man would be taking photographs in a quick service restaurant in a theme park?

    • Oh sorry, Nick LoCicero wanted me to take pictures in the bathroom at a child’s theme park…strictly research he said

  3. The restaurant walls are white with striping. Looks like a government building. The bathrooms look barely Googie style. I guess it’s the best they can do.

  4. It looks great & I appreciate that almost all Disney restrooms have the extra strip on the doors so you can go in privacy without people staring at you thru the cracks . :)
