While it has never been uncommon to find theme park tickets at your local superstore, it has never been the case that you could find Walt Disney World tickets at these locations. Well, Until now…
Select Florida Publix, Winn-Dixie, Wawa, and Target locations are now selling the Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets if you would like to buy them in advance.
They are selling both the 3-day and 4-day ticket versions.
A reminder that these tickets are only valid through June 24th, 2018.
No matter how many times it says Florida resident on the ticket I am sure there will be MANY non-florid residents buy them thinking that they are getting a deal only to be disappointed.
We just got back from FL this week and we bought our tickets at Wal-Mart. I thought that was weird. Guest Services at Disney Springs helped me attach them to my Disney Experience account without question though. I think its a trend!
But I agree that a lot of non-residents will be purchasing them when they shouldn’t be!
I am confused …you bought them from Wal Mart, as a non resident? they have different one’s for Florida residents?
I am sure there must be a procedure in place, but what stops a non-resident from buying and using these?
They check your drivers license when you arrive at the park.
How do we know the exact locations?
Sadly there isn’t a list.
Hi Tom, what is the best way to purchase the fastpass
This a voucher not a ticket. It has to be converted into a ticket after showing proof of Florida residency. It even gives the website to check in the picture. Are you guys from Jersey?
Do you want to get into semantics?
So Toy Story Land opens on June 25 then?
Another problem I have discovered is that you can not sign up for fast pass in advance as it is a voucher and not a ticket. This is a major drawback in my opinion as you can not plan your trip ahead.
You can sign up for fast pass with vouchers. Florida residents do it all the time as well as military tickets. You just use the voucher number on my Disney experience.
Do you know if we can use a store gift card to buy them? For example, can I use a Target gift card to purchase the 3 day Discover Disney voucher? Thank you!
do they have blackout dates
