Some footage has leaked of Disney testing the Slinky Dog Dash coaster in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios late one night, uploaded by Mickey Views:

In the footage, we see a full train travel the track for the first time, along with a neat “bouncing spring” effect in Slinky Dog’s tail as he travels along the track.

Toy Story Land opens Summer 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

  • I’m excited about this coaster. With the addition of Star Wars Land in the future, it’s clear that park will have some serious thrill rides. By having a coaster that is more family friendly, it helps balance out Hollywood Studios. I think it’s a great addition and will be a huge hit. Also take into account that HS already has the largest two thrill rides (pre-Star Wars Land) compared to the other Disney parks.

  • In summary…. a prosaic ride experience that will be mediocre at best, encapsulated in a Toy Story Land that has been proven in Europe and Asia to be sterile and lifeless.

Terrific job once again, Disney. I guess there’s always Star Wars.
