VIDEO: Leaked Footage Shows Slinky Dog Dash Coaster in Toy Story Land Being Tested!

Some footage has leaked of Disney testing the Slinky Dog Dash coaster in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios late one night, uploaded by Mickey Views:

In the footage, we see a full train travel the track for the first time, along with a neat “bouncing spring” effect in Slinky Dog’s tail as he travels along the track.

Toy Story Land opens Summer 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I really hope it goes faster than that. Yikes.

Highly unlikely! What you see is very likely what you’re getting! Do you honestly think they’ed build a thrill ride in a area that looks like it built by a child?

So they basically put in another Barnstomer. Disappointing.

That was rough to watch.

You get the feeling that if this kid didn’t have this outlet for his manic energy, he’d probably be dissecting squirrels or collecting used women’s shoes.

Will Toy Story Land just be a dead end until Star Wars Land opens or will there be a way to get to Grand Ave?

I’m excited about this coaster. With the addition of Star Wars Land in the future, it’s clear that park will have some serious thrill rides. By having a coaster that is more family friendly, it helps balance out Hollywood Studios. I think it’s a great addition and will be a huge hit. Also take into account that HS already has the largest two thrill rides (pre-Star Wars Land) compared to the other Disney parks.

In summary…. a prosaic ride experience that will be mediocre at best, encapsulated in a Toy Story Land that has been proven in Europe and Asia to be sterile and lifeless.

Terrific job once again, Disney. I guess there’s always Star Wars.
