One of Disney Springs newest additions, Wine Bar George, is hosting weekly wine tasting experiences and monthly wine dinners for Disney Vacation Club Members and special guests as part of Membership Magic.

On Tuesdays from 3:30-5 p.m., the weekly wine tasting experience includes samplings of six types of wines from well-known wineries, as well as up-and-coming ones. This experience is designed to help as many as 30 people taste wine like a Master Sommelier. Each week, a different collection of wines will be featured, paired with sampling of cheese and charcuterie. $45 a person with a max of six people in their party includes tax and gratuity.
The monthly wine dinners will accommodate as many as 10 people on select Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., and will be hosted by George Miliotes, and depending on availability, a featured winemaker. The monthly experience is priced at $115 a person, including tax and gratuity and includes a reception and three-course dinner with your wine pairings.
Florida’s only Master Sommelier-led wine bar is located in The Landing neighborhood of Disney Springs, close to The BOATHOUSE and Morimoto Asia. The two-story, 6,000 square foot, 210 seat Wine Bar George is the vision of Master Sommelier George Miliotes. Miliotes is regarded as one of the restaurant industry’s foremost wine experts. Honing his skills and reputation in Disney’s own Contemporary Resort, he opened California Grill and managed the venue from 1995-2002. Wine Bar George also draws inspiration for its design from the a winemaker’s home estate and houses more than 100 wines available by both bottle and glass. It also offers a selection of small plates, cheese and charcuterie boards, family style plates and desserts.
The venue’s commitment to delivering wine education to Disney Vacation Club Members reflects the ability to do it in a lighthearted and congenial way! Beginning March 29, call Member Services for event registration and more information. You can also read and learn more about Wine Bar George by visiting here.
