The Disney Skyliner system will have a station between Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation. With the recent support beams going up around Caribbean Beach, we stopped by Art of Animation to check out construction on the upcoming station.
Station Construction
The station will be on the bridge connecting the two resorts.
Between the trees you can make out the massive footers for the station. There’s still a lot of work to be done.
Lake Supports
At the end of the lake you can see the connecting supports going towards the Caribbean Beach station.
These metal pylons will be the supporting structure for the soon to be installed Skyliner support in the lake.
Disney Skyliner is a gondola lift system that will connect Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and the new Disney Riviera Resort to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Many of the gondolas with Disney Skyliner will feature beloved Disney characters! Disney Skyliner is just one of the transportation options, with the recently announced permanent Minnie Vans being available at almost all resorts now.
