REVIEW: New Margarita and Beers at Baseline Tap House at Hollywood Studios

Baseline Tap House is a quick service bar location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This location opened a few years ago replacing the previous Writer’s Stop next to Sci-Fi Dine-In. Beers constantly change at Baseline, but we rarely see a change on the cocktails front. There’s a brand new margarita available which replaced the negroni. You may remember earlier this year a brand new steak puff snack premiered that was really good. We stopped by Baseline Tap House to check out the new spirits.

Exotic Margarita – Patron Silver Tequila, Midori, Yuzu, and Fresh Lime Juice – $11.75

This margarita was very different. The bartender said it tastes like kiwi and she was absolutely correct. We’re not sure how the spirit should combine to that flavor, but no complaints here. While it doesn’t feel particularly boozy, it’s definitely felt afterwards.

North Coast Cherry Berliner Weisse – 22oz $9.75

Light, airy, and very drinkable. Not for a beer fan, as it’s more of an anti-beer and a bit sour. We could drink this all day in the hot Florida summer.

Golden Road Hefeweizen- 22oz $9.75

While not new, we love this Hefeweizen. It’s perfectly balanced (as all things should be) with great flavors of clove and coriander on the tongue. Recommended.

Sierra Nevada Tropical Torpedo IPA – 22oz $9.75

Brand new to Baseline Tap House, this IPA arrives with a great drinkability, perfect for the IPA-lover in the hot summer heat.
