Walt Disney World’s Mobile Order for quick service restaurants has been a huge success in the parks. We love not waiting in extended lines, ordering and paying ahead of time. It really alleviates a lot of the headache from dining at locations such as Cosmic Ray’s or Casey’s Corner. Prior to today this function existed only at the parks and Disney Springs, but that is all about to change. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort hopped-on to the Mobile Order train by adding the brand new Spyglass Grill into the mix.
You may remember we reviewed breakfast and dinner at Spyglass Grill as some of the best quick service options at Walt Disney World. We believe the mobile order will allow more guests to get food from this small location quicker.
Imagine sitting in your hotel room with kids, everyone wants food but doesn’t want to leave the room. Mobile order everything, someone goes and picks it up to take back to the room. It’s quick, easy, and efficient. Plus there’s not a lot of seating at Spyglass Grill so this will help immensely.
We anticipate the service to be continued at other quick service locations pending this successful launch.
This is great and I’m sure just the beginning of a new wave of options for ordering at resort quick service locations. We’re headed to Pop soon. Hoping to see it available at more locations in the coming months!
We were in the parks the first day Mobile Ordering was combined with the DDP and I was an immediate convert! Cannot wait to see which resorts they add soon!
