As we informed you would happen a few weeks ago, Tambu Lounge has finally closed for its overhaul at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

To make up for this tremendous (temporary) loss, two temporary bars have been erected. One is near the monorail platform, the other by the check-in podium at Ohana. Both are offering different drink selections, so choose wisely. Or just go to both I guess.

The bars feature a pattern common at the resort back in the 1970’s.

Tambu Lounge is expected to return this Fall. The exact changes being made are unknown at this time.
