Disney After Hours, the hard ticket Magic Kingdom event, will be extended into 2019. The new dates are for the December 3rd to March 7th time frame.
Here’s the full list of dates for the event:
- 1/7, 1/17, 1/24, 1/28, 2/7, 2/28: 8pm – 11pm
- 2/14, 3/7: 9pm – 12am
- 12/3, 12/10: 10pm – 1am
The ticket costs $125+ tax for guests aged 3 and up, or $129 for day of purchase. DVC and Annual Passholder discounts are available for this event.
Disney After Hours takes place after normal operating hours at Magic Kingdom, allowing guests to experience attractions with little to no wait. You can read our full breakdown of the event here.

Attended this event in May 2016 and remains my all-time favorite WDW memory.
Attended again in August of this year, and was very disappointed. They are selling far too many tickets for this event now. Many rides were no longer walk-on, as they had been in the past. Lines for food/beverages were even longer.
Tempted to try again, but hope it doesn’t become a “fool me once” situation…
Lame. A way to close early and charge twice, same park. Same attractions being run at half capacity.
And yet it’s extremely popular and well reviewed enough to extend the dates. Want some cheese to go with that whine?
