The Liberty Belle Riverboat in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom has been under refurbishment since January 2018. Originally anticipated to reopen back in July, the refurbishment was extended through “Fall 2018”. Finally, the Library Belle riverboat returned to the waters of the Rivers of America this week.

There is still no announced reopening date, with rumors now swirling that this extended closure and the ongoing closure of Tom Sawyer Island are solely budgetary in nature at this point.
