Despite the winter theme at the park, cold weather means guests won’t be able to visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach for several days.

According to the park calendar, Blizzard Beach will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday as chilly temperatures take over Florida.

Although high temperatures reached 70 degrees at Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday, and will be in the 60s on Friday and Saturday, temperatures at night will drop into the low 40s, which will likely make for some chilly water.

Blizzard Beach is scheduled to resume normal operation on Sunday.

The news means that both water parks will be out of service to guests this week as Typhoon Lagoon has been closed for refurbishment since January 6. That park is scheduled to reopen on March 16, according to the Walt Disney World Resort website.
