Construction on the Guardians of the Galaxy themed roller coaster is coming along nicely at Epcot.
From the parking lot, the entire back side of the main show building is completely visible. The emergency stairs from the top of the launch tunnel and the area connecting the two buildings together are also visible.
A closer look at the emergency stairwell.
This cherrypicker was sitting in that same spot the entire time we were in the park.
The old Universe of Energy pavilion building hasn’t changed much since our last update.
You can still see all the way through the building, however the sun screen in place makes it difficult.
Also from the parking lot, you can see there launch tunnel that will send the coaster trains from the old pavilion to the new gravity building.
Trains will launch up this incline.
Overall, work is coming along well at the attraction. As always, WDWNT will continue to provide you with the latest construction updates for Guardians Of The Galaxy and beyond!
How do you think the completed, un-themed show building blends in with the sky?
You can also get up close views from the Epcot Monorail Line.
The monorail has so very detailed views! Rode it this morning and you can practically see all the way in.
Some days the doors of the monorail will even open up as you pass by the site so you can get an even better view.
When is opening projected?
