REVIEW: Change Your Fate With This Brave Cupcake From Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

A princess must be knowledgeable about her kingdom. And her cupcakes. So when I heard there was a new Brave character cupcake at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, you know I had to head over there and try one.

“If ye had a chance to eat this cupcake… would yeh?”

This new character cupcake from the Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music is adorable. With just some creative decorating, they’ve managed to capture all the feisty redhead vibes. There’s a rim of silver and gold crispy pearls around a dark green frosting, giving it a Tartan plaid look. Two pieces of milk chocolate make up the arrow through the frosting. Bright orange buttercream represents Merida’s curly hair. There’s even edible green glitter sprinkled on top. You can pick up this Merida cupcake for $5.99. Clan DunBroch would be proud.

The cupcake is a chocolate base topped with buttercream icing. When we cut into the cupcake, we discover this is another surprise cupcake. Sparkly orange, red, black, and green sprinkles fill the center of the Merida cupcake. There are even star sprinkles inside! This cupcake balances it all out with the sprinkles and crispy pearls. It’s definitely an improvement after the heavily-sprinkled Mushu cupcake.

All-Star Music hit the mark with this cupcake. The chocolate cake is dense and rich. There’s just the right amount of buttercream for the entire cupcake. If you’re looking for a good chocolate cupcake, a trip to the Intermission Food Court might just change your fate.
