J.J. Abrams has announced that filming for principal photography for “Star Wars: Episode IX” has officially been completed. To celebrate the occasion, Abrams posted a photo of Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac sharing an emotional moment during the last day of filming.

Now all that remains is to complete the editing process, special effects, and the musical score. (So far, all we’ve had are these leaked concept art pics.) And, yes, we need an official title, teaser trailer, and an official trailer or two. Still seems like a lot to do before December 20th, when the film is released in theaters. Let’s hope that the final chapter in this trilogy is the best one yet!
