With just months to go until Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the park is getting ready by altering paths and planters on the road to Batuu.

The famous Speeder Bike photo-op is now behind walls. That may be the latest victim of the park expansion.

Walls wrap around to the Red Carpet Dreams with Mickey and Minnie area.

On Commissary Lane, the Disney Vacation Club booth was already removed and a fresh area of pavement is now open. The new booth is now open on Grand Avenue.

Chip and Dale have left Grand Avenue and are now meeting here.

The work walls were just painted, they went up overnight.

We assume this work is to prepare the area for the giant mob of guests who will traverse it each morning as they try to be the first to enter Galaxy’s Edge.

We’ll have to wait and see what the finished product will be…
