The Art Corner, by Artistic Talent Group is now open at Disney Springs and brings a whimsical creative space to the area. If you’re unfamiliar with The Art Corner, the original Art Corner concept actually began on opening day inside Disneyland Park in California. The Art Corner was a small pop-up kiosk at the end of Main Street that featured Disney animation cells for purchase, art supplies, and actual Disney animators at work.

At the new Art Corner in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, a variety of artists will create custom artwork for guests. They will also carry a variety of art supplies for purchase. Caricature Connection, a division within Artistic Talent Group, who has been making magic drawing caricatures and other products on Disney property for over twenty-five years, also joins the space.
Here are the works that will be available in the space:
CLASSIC CARICATURES
Several art styles will be showcased in the store providing guests with multiple options for custom artwork. Classic Caricatures, a tried and true guest favorite, will be painted in watercolors. These are similar to the caricatures one can get at most Disney resort hotels.
DIGITAL CARICATURES
Digital Caricatures, a new and innovative twist on the classic art form will also be available. Instead of ink on paper, the caricature is created by the artist using a digital drawing tablet and stylus pen.
NAME WORKS
Name Works, an exclusive product of Artistic Talent Group, will join the offerings due to its success on Disney property. This unique art product provides guests with the ultimate in custom name personalization. Hand-drawn names are embellished with illustrations of favorite items and can even include a personalized cartoon character.
ARTISTIC MARBLING
This hands-on guest experience made its debut at Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts last year. It quickly became one of the most buzz-worthy offerings at the festival. Artistic Marbling offers the guest a one of a kind opportunity to learn the ancient art form of Suminigashi. Guests work side by side with a professional Artisan to create a custom-made silk. The piece is designed with the guest’s choice of their favorite colors and pattern.
COFFEE & CANVAS BY MIKEL
In addition, a whimsical touch will be present with a unique gallery, “Coffee & Canvas by Mikel”. Mikel creates original works of art using one of the most beloved beverages of the ages COFFEE as his exclusive painting medium. There are no “paints” involved, his only “paint” colors are derived from reduced coffee. Each painting contains anywhere from 60-150 brewed cups!
The Art Corner is open from Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
