There’s an overwhelming amount of new food to try around Epcot right now, but we’re not complaining. As we made our way around the World Showcase, we spotted a small sign at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom advertising a Chicken and Mushroom Pie. We’d already been eating around the festival all day, so we figured, why not just eat some more? Let’s try the meat pie.

This lovely little pie comes served with a side of “chips” for $9.99. It’s a nice sized portion, with a beautiful golden crust, served wrapped with a piece of paper. And, of course, a heaping pile of fries on the side.

Large chunks of chicken and mushrooms, with a creamy sauce, look beautiful inside the flaky crust. The outside of the pie is so soft and buttery. Sometimes the crust on these kinds of folded snacks can be hard and crunchy, but this is the total opposite. The pastry outside is buttery, warm, and delicious.

Huge chunks of tender chicken and mushroom filling packs the crust. There’s a creamy sauce mixed in with it, making for a very satisfying and filling snack. The chicken is juicy and the mushrooms have great flavor. They combine together for a very flavorful pie.

This warm chicken and mushroom pie works perfectly for a grab and go meal or snack. With the parchment paper wrapped around it, you don’t need to worry about a table. This is the perfect handheld meal for strolling through World Showcase or watching IllumiNations.

If you need a little change up from the fish and chips, this chicken and mushroom pie would Be a great choice. We can’t promise it’ll make you stray from fish and chips, but it’s definitely worth a try.
