Back in January, the Get Your Ears On Celebration launched at the Disneyland Resort, in honor of Mickey and Minnie’s 90th birthday. Over 65 specialty food and drink items were available and we were amazed by these offerings. But the fun didn’t stop there! This month even more items were added to the celebration, including this new Sizzlin’ Hot Funnel Cake at Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland.

Sizzlin’ Hot Funnel Cake

This funnel cake was weird, to say the least. It wasn’t bad, exactly, but pairing funnel cake with cheese and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos is a strange combination. It did taste pretty gross once it cooled down, though, so we advise trying to eat this while it’s still warm.

It’s basically a savory funnel cake, topped with cheese sauce and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos dust sprinkled on top. The Cheetos dust does not work at all and we’d rather just eat Flamin’ Hot Cheetos alone than on what is essentially a cheesy pastry. Overall, we don’t recommend giving this specialty item a try unless you want to claim that you are the weirdest item at Disneyland.
