Gather the flock and take to the high seas for summertime fun at the Tokyo Disney Resort.
If you’re looking for a “quacking” good time, head to Tokyo Disneyland this summer for the return of “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer.”
At Tokyo Disneyland, Donald Duck and his friends Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Clarice will take the Cinderella Castle stage for “O! Summer Banzai!,” the first nighttime castle stage show to be performed in the park in six years. This “thrilling performance” will offer effects including “spraying water and fire,” as well as projection-mapped imagery and around 45 performers. The show lasts 20 minutes and runs twice nightly.
During the day, two of the Zootopia Police Department’s coolest officers, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, will help guests cool off at “Judy and Nick’s Jumpin’ Splash,” a new castle stage show with ten performers, featuring the hit song “Try Everything” and plenty of splashes. The show lasts approximately 10 minutes, and will perform four times daily.
There will also be plenty of food items and merchandise to go along with this event!
Meanwhile, the crew of The Black Pearl will drop anchor at Tokyo DisneySea for “Disney Pirates Summer,” featuring photo opportunities, roving entertainment and a new action-adventure spectacular, “Pirates Summer Battle! Get Wet!,” starring Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa.
The high-seas adventure features a cast of 90 performers and plenty of water effects. The show lasts 25 minutes and will perform three times daily.
Roving performers will invite guests to join their pirate crew.
And it wouldn’t be a parks event without specialty food and merchandise!
The hotels of the Tokyo Disney Resort will also be offering specialty menu items and merchandise for the events. There will also be specialty tickets for the Disney Resort Line.
“Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer” and “Disney Pirates Summer” run from July 9th to September 1st.
