Good morning from my personal favorite park at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

New Minnie Ears!

One of my first stops of the day was the Celebrity 5 & 10 on Hollywood Boulevard, where I stumbled across these new lollipop-inspired Minnie Ears! These ears are a little different than the standard ears that Disney has put out lately, in that the ears are made of hard plastic, versus the usual plush and fabric covered ears. Still, they’re a pretty sweet pair (see what I did there?)

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy finally opened on March 31st!

Lightning McQueen’s Pit Crew has also arrived on the scene…

Construction Updates

Keystone Clothiers and Legends of Hollywood are still closed for refurbishment, with the reimagined stores expected to reopen sometime this summer.

With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge right around the corner, getting a glimpse of construction feels even more exciting lately. (Catch me crying in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon on August 29th.)

Work seems to be coming along on the new security bag check area in front of Hollywood Studios. I’m really looking forward to this project being completed, because it means getting rid of the maze of shoddy construction walls that line most of the walkway to the park entrance currently. They don’t make the best first impression.

That’s all for my day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! I love this park so much, and I can’t wait to continue to watch it evolve into a better version of itself this year. Stay tuned to WDWNT for more updates and to watch with me!
