Late last month, we brought you news that Mizner’s Lounge would be undergoing a lengthy refurbishment to be transformed into a Beauty and the Beast Library themed bar and lounge. April 5th, 2019 was the official last day of operation for Mizner’s, and today, we found the new, temporary bar in operation at the resort’s Garden View Tea Room. If housing a bar and a tea room in the same venue sounds conflicting––that’s because it is. Read on to find out more about the pop-up bar’s logistics and offerings.

The bar is set up just outside the trellises that line the tea room, and it’s comprised of two rolling bar carts, two glass-door fridges, a wire rack with some bottles, and a register.

It isn’t much , but it gets the job done.

At least there are still Grand Floridian swizzle sticks.

Pop-Up Mizner’s Lounge – Seating

The bar opens every day at 5:00 PM. And as you can see, it’s quite popular. A limited number of chairs and marble-topped tables are available by the bar.

The main issue is the overlap with the final seatings for the tea room for the day.

While seating is available at opening, cocktail servers do have to seat you if you arrive before 6:00 PM. Once the last few tea drinkers trickle out of the space and it is cleared out, it becomes open seating.

Printed paper menus detail all the offerings available. That Papyrus font really elevates the experience.

A variety of beers, wines, and cocktails (including specialty cocktails) are available.

They also have scotch, bourbon, and whisky, as well as martinis (and specialty martinis.)

A number of bites, as well as a dessert sampler are also available in case you need some food with your libations.

Well, what do you think of this new stand-in for Mizner’s Lounge? Cast Members expect this offering to last for just 6 months, so make sure you make your way over to this “limited edition” experience before its gone and replaced with Beast’s library.

  1. I sure hope the line about paper menus & Papyrus font was meant to be sarcastic because the whole thing is less than impressive.

  2. why cant we all just get along! the bar is very nice and for all of you who like to partake in a little drink thats fine, but how about us smokers who like to take a break and have a smoke now and then. please ask disney to reconsider keeping the smoking areas in the parks!
