New Parking Restrictions Now in Place at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

If you’re a fan of visiting Fort Wilderness to take in the lush surroundings and explore the wide array of dining and outdoor activities, do be aware of new parking restrictions in place at the resort and campground.

Access to parking will now be limited to guests with resort, dining, or activity reservations within the complex.

If you plan on stopping by the resort to enjoy the nightly campfire, quick-service eats, or the marina, you will need to use Walt Disney World Transportation to access the resort. (Boat and bus service is available from the Magic Kingdom, with additional boat service available from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.)

Limited parking access may be tied to the current ongoing construction throughout the resort in preparation for Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Resort, as well as expanded new stables at the Tri-Circle D Ranch.

  1. The urban architecture of reflections by far does not fit in with Fort wilderness or wilderness lodge. This architecture would fit in around Epcot areas and it is a very nice design, But it seriously does not fit in where they are putting it and it will look very out of place between the two resorts. The design should be leaning to wilderness or old west to fit in to this theme resort area . Vacation club high rises are on the rise but they should match the them of the area. The should not encroach on animal sanctuaries like the gopher tortoises, woodpeckers, and snail kites of this area. We welcome a vacation club but it has to fit and not disrupt the peace of the fort because may lose many campers if you don’t plan this right!
