Welcome to another WDWNT photo report from the Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! It was such a lovely morning to be at the Magic Kingdom, the weather was pleasant, the sky was blue, and the Disney ducks have their home back in the Cinderella Castle moat!
Well, most of the moat, anyway. The whole side of the moat over by Tomorrowland has been completely refilled, and it feels like the Magic Kingdom is almost back to normal after the whole moat being barren for several months.
Checking out the shops on Main Street, I noticed the arrival of a whole new line of rainbow Pride merchandise and treats! There are so many new pieces in this collection, make sure you don’t miss the full post to see all of it, along with the new Pride Alex and Ani bangle bracelets, and a new Pride Pandora charm!
My favorite pieces are definitely the rainbow Minnie Ear headband, the rainbow Mickey plush, and the Pandora charm.
There are also new Pride and patriotic themed treats at the Confectionary!
There’s a bit more new paint added by the old Stitch’s Great Escape entrance. Stay tuned to see if this turns into the next must-do instagram wall.
My next stop was a ride on the PeopleMover for my regular grand circle tour of Tomorrowland (which is really just an excuse to get a peek at TRON Coaster construction).
The track looks like its getting installed pretty quickly at this point, and its exciting to see it coming together!
Checking in on the pathway widening project, and there’s still lots of progress to be made. I’ve really missed taking this shortcut on my park walks lately, and I’m really hoping this starts moving along quickly to get it opened back up. Keep thinking positive thoughts about the return of the wrought iron benches, too!
While I was stopping in Sir Mickey’s, Peter Pan snuck up behind me and made sure to warn me to look out for the giant in the ceiling, just in case you’ve never seen him before. (Yes, I do believe that is the strangest sentence I’ve ever written.)
The pressed penny machine in Sir Mickey’s was out of order today. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in anticipation of it getting changed over to the new $1 pressed penny machines. It’s truly the end of an era with the removal of the machines that took two quarters.
And, just like that, unlike the Castle Couture scrim, my time in Magic Kingdom is done for another day. (Seriously, I think it might be permanent). See you again soon!
