Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue Replacing Liberty Inn at The American Adventure in Epcot This Year

It appears that Disney has announced the replacement of an age-old classic casual eatery, The Liberty Inn at The American Adventure in Epcot.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will bring a new fast-casual barbecue restaurant featuring craft brews on tap. Liberty Inn will close July 8th to make way for this new experience in World Showcase.

The new location will be a modern barbecue smokehouse, with all the accompanying sights, sounds, smells, and flavors guests can look forward to – including a large smoker preparing fine food every day right on the pavilion’s promenade. There will also be a redesigned patio for guests to enjoy, so get ready to grab a brew, some barbecue, and relax inside Epcot.

For now, you can still enjoy all of the Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! specialty food and beverages available at this location for a limited time.

  1. That is a bummer! My husband and I love this place! When will the new one open… do you know?

    • they are not talking about liberty tree tavern in magic kingdom – this is sorely needed in epcot

  2. Good idea…it brings traditional and authentically American cuisine to the pavilion. Only one problem… Florida had no idea how to do BBQ, and it will probably end up being just like the other bland, mediocre pork that is popping up all over Disney. If they bring in someone from North Carolina to run the operation, then it may turn out to be great.

  3. Doesn’t “regal” mean king/monarchy? Kinda the opposite of what the “American Adventure” next door is all about? :)
