If you’re looking to dine at the newest Epcot restaurant, Takumi-Tei in the Japan Pavilion, and would like to plan ahead for the experience, reservations are now open online and available to book via My Disney Experience, online on the Walt Disney World website, and by calling the Disney Dining reservations line at (407) WDW-DINE.
The Omakase-style restaurant opened earlier this month and up until now, only took walk-ups at the podium by their intimate, tucked away zen garden in the Japan Pavilion.
Reservations can be made online and are currently showing availability though January 12, 2020. The restaurant opens for early dinner every day at 4:00 PM. In fact, you could go check out out today.
We recommend the restaurant for its intricate, relaxed ambiance. Drop in here for some quiet, great cocktails, and expertly-crafted sushi. (Just don’t commit to the full Omakase Tasting Menu unless you have a few hours to kill.)
You can read our full, opening-day review of Takumi-Tei, including the Omakase Tasting Menu experience, here. Check out our full tour of the restaurant’s beautiful interior in the video below!
Tables in Wonderland, Annual Passholder, and DVC discounts are all accepted at this location.
Hi! I was just curious if this is at all a “kid friendly” restaurant? My family and I made reservations for the end of this month as the menu really appeals to us. I see no children’s menu though and I am nervous of that taking my 5yr old & 2yr old would be frowned upon.
It’s really quiet, I don’t think it’s a great kid restaurant.
