Part of Epcot Resorts Boulevard to Temporarily Close Next Month for Bridge Work

A portion of Epcot Resorts Boulevard near Disney’s Beach Club resort will close in mid-August to accommodate bridgework. The bridge that crosses the body of water just east of Disney’s Beach Club Resort will close for up to 9 months.

Epcot Resorts Boulevard Closure

Those guests wishing to access Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts, as well as Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, will need to use the west entrance to Epcot Resorts Boulevard. This is the entrance by Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf course near World Drive.

Stay tuned to WDWNT for updates on this road closure.

  1. I wonder… Could this possibly have anything to do with increased access to EPCOT’s International Gateway…? With that entrance to EPCOT becoming more of a “thing” with the Skyliner, I wonder if there will be more call for bus or Minnie Van series directly to the International Gateway?

I have no further information, just wondering…

    Thanks for this report.
