Hooray for Hollywood! And welcome to another day here at Hollywood Studios. It feels a lot more crowded today than usual. The bag check lines were long. Even without a bag, the lines took a bit of time.
Down Sunset Boulevard, we found many disappointed guests waiting for Tower of Terror to open for the day. Cast Members were informing guests of a delayed opening and advising them to visit other attractions and come back later.
The line for Slinky Dog Dash was long, but guests seemed in good spirits.
Even the lines for character meet and greets were long. Jessie’s line has absolutely no chance of shade.
We found Forky hanging out near the trash.
A PhotoPass photographer brought them out and set them up, and many guests were eager to meet Forky!
A line quickly formed to pose next to a trash can with Forky. This kind of fun Cast Member interaction is something you can’t get with an automated machine.
If you can’t find Forky out and about, you can also check out some of the other fun Instagram walls. The popsicle stick wall at the exit of Toy Story Mania is a unique one.
Don’t forget the Buzz Lightyear wings inside the gift shop at the exit of the ride.
Cookie Num Nums.
It looks like some previews have started for Galaxy’s Edge.
Let’s see if we can get a better look.
We can’t see much yet besides new subway tile, as well as the stratified rock, and some light fixtures in the back.
Okay, we got it.
The Voyage of the Little Mermaid is closed for a few days, but Ariel and Eric are meeting guests in the queue area.
Planters are blocking off the exit while it’s closed.
The walls are still up near Epic Eats.
Indy Stitch is ready to pin trade with his pin sword.
The current seasonal shake at Dockside Diner is strawberry.
If you’re heading towards Toy Story Land, the ramps are closed off due to construction walls, so you’ll need to go towards Animation Courtyard to get around.
The park has been pretty busy today, and many people are here for previews.
If the crowds are too much, there’s always the Green Screen.
Well, that’s about it for today.
Thanks for following us, and be sure to stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official opening of Galaxy’s Edge!
Great article! Really surprised by the crowd!
Great photo report! Really fun to read. Loved seeing all the characters out. Made it almost feel like old MGM studios again!
