Welcome to a beautiful holiday weekend here at the Magic Kingdom! It’s pretty early, so the crowds aren’t too bad yet, but it’s going to be a busy day! Let’s get started!
It seems as if people are sleeping in today in anticipation of a late night. The crowds aren’t quite as bad as expected.
Over in Adventureland, we found the tropical Plumeria Minnie Ears from Aulani for $30. The flowers even have a hidden Mickey in the center.
We were delighted to find the Little Mermaid ears in Fantasyland. We spotted the new ears in Fantasy Faire for $27.99.
A cute Mermaid tail mug is available from the Emporium for $22.99. This would be a fin-tastic way to enjoy your morning coffee.
There’s even an Ariel at the bottom of the mug.
If you and your pet like Disney snacks, there’s a new feeding bowl available for $19.99.
Speaking of snacks, over at Sunshine Tree Terrace, we found the new Redd’s Revenge Float. This combination of strawberry Dole Whip, strawberry Fanta, and a chocolate pirate hat is a sweet treat you can’t miss.
Big Top Souvenirs was ready to celebrate with their featured Patriotic Swirl Glacier.
The Cinderella Carriage was out for photos near Pinocchio Village Haus.
The toppings bar has switched spots with the Fuel Rod station between Bay 1 and Bay 2 inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.
There are tape arrows around the park helping with the flow of guest traffic and forming queue lines.
The sign-holding Cast Members are out, but don’t seem to be necessary yet.
The crowds started to build later in the afternoon.
In Tomorrowland, we could see Cast Members with signs to help guests find the standby entrances.
Crowds were seeking air conditioning at the Carousel of Progress.
The PeopleMover line moves people pretty quickly, if you can ever find it.
Thanks for following us around the Magic Kingdom today. We hope you enjoyed navigating the crowds with us. Stay tuned for more summer updates from the Magic Kingdom and more!
