If you’ve ever tuned in on social media during any one of our #WDWNTokyo streaks, you probably know we’re big fans of Japan, home to Tokyo Disneyland, Gelatoni, and some of the cutest, most delicious food we’ve ever had. The Japan Pavilion at Epcot has always been a mainstay of World Showcase dining, and ever since the announcement of a new, signature restaurant, we’ve been dropping by the pavilion regularly to track its progress.
Takumi-Tei, which means house of the artisan, celebrates the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world, and today, we’re happy to share the Omakase Tasting Menu that was just posted outside the restaurant.
The Omakase Tasting Menu starts at $130 per guest, with wine and sake pairings available for an additional $75. The full experience includes sushi, wagyu steak, and a tea ceremony featuring Matcha Green Tea. Standard menu offerings are also available, per the signage, but it seems the restaurant will be focusing on traditional Omakase-style dining, where you entrust yourself to the chef.
Takumi-Tei’s posted hours are 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM daily. If you’re looking to dine at Takumi-Tei, do keep in mind that like most signature restaurants, it does have a dress code. In fact, it’s the only other Epcot restaurant with a stated dress code, so even if you’re donning your nicest cargo shorts, you may not be let in.
Takumi-Tei opens today at Epcot, so stay tuned for photos, video, and review of the park’s newest offering.
Where can you make reservations? ADRs do not seem to be available for this restaurant.

Wow! I’m so impressed (and drooling)… This experience is definitely on my list.
