It’s the end of an era as we know it. With Disney’s EarPort store officially closed for refurbishment until November, we weren’t quite sure whether construction inside the retail location would affect the various photo ops that made up the store’s facade.
Overnight, it appears construction walls went up surrounding the entire location.
The once-beloved Walt Disney World sign is now covered by construction walls as well. Guests arriving to MCO are now met by beige construction walls instead of this:
The newly refurbished EarPort is scheduled to reopen in November. It’s expected that the redesign will follow the same model as the recently refurbished Magic of Disney Store, with a warehouse design and projection screens taking the place of most props.
