Whoomp! There it is. The NBA Experience Store has officially opened ahead of the actual NBA Experience over at Disney Springs. We knew the store would be opening soon after we saw some signage go up earlier in June, so we’re really excited to tour the new retail space.
The store is just adjacent to the Experience building, with signage labeling it as the NBA Store.
Inside, multiple mannequins show off various jerseys and athletic wear. There are court markings on the floor.
The walls are lined with NBA Experience exclusive merchandise, including some neat Loungefly backpacks and more! (We’ll have a full merchandise post up soon.)
Once the NBA Experience opens, the store should connect to the larger complex.
Overall, the store carries out a modern look, but I can’t help but feel vague old-school Foot Locker vibes from this place.
There are NBA Experience customization kiosks as well, where you can tailor your NBA Experience… experience to feature your name, Â favorite team, as well as customize your skill level.
The fitting rooms are made to look like lockers, with actual lockers available (but according to Cast Members, they aren’t for anyone to actually use? It’s opening day.)
There are these neat D-Tech kiosks where you can get personalized magnets, phone cases, MagicBands, ornaments, and water bottles.
Exclusive sneakers, like this signed size 22 Reebok “Shaq Attaq” sneaker for $900 are housed inside of glass cases.
The NBA Experience isn’t set to open until August 12, 2019. Check out our full walking tour of the NBA Experience Store below!
Be sure to stay tuned to WDWNT.com for more updates on the NBA Experience and everything else around the parks and resorts. Are you excited for the NBA Experience coming to the West Side of Disney Springs later this summer?
Hi, welcome to Foot Locker at your local mall
No, not excited! Give me something I haven’t seen or experienced before not another basketball NBA city, been there, done that. I would expect more from Disney.
Where’s my toon squad jersey?
This is so NOT Disney. Looks like an old skool Foot Locker indeed.
