At today’s Parks Panel at the D23 Expo, a very exciting announcement was made for the future of entertainment at Disney Springs. Because, for the first time ever, Walt Disney Imagineering and Cirque du Soleil have teamed up to create a brand-new show, set to make its debut in 2020.

From the Disney Parks Blog:

For the first time, Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios have joined forces with Cirque du Soleil to create a show that combines Disney storytelling and heart with Cirque du Soleil’s signature artistry. Previews will begin March 20, 2020, leading up to the world premiere on April 17.
