How are wait times during these events for the headliners? 7DMT, FOP, SM etc? I’d want to get a big amount down for that price

Still 20-25, minutes, certainly not a walk on

I basically walked right on everything, and was able to get on 12 attractions in 2 and a half hours at the Magic Kingdom. It felt like I had the whole park to myself. It was one of my favorite Walt Disney World memories, and I thought it was worth the cost.

We did these at MK and HS over spring break – both were great. For MK, we rode 7DMT 5 times, Space Mtn 5 times, BTM 6 times (the last 3 rides were consecutive as we did not have to exit the vehicle because no one was waiting in the row for our car), skipped Splash Mtn because it is a long ride that eats too much time. When we went in July 2018 there was a fairly short wait (maybe 10 minutes) for 7DMT and everything else was instant walk-on. For Space Mountain they had the exit opening right back into the entrance so you didn’t have to walk back through the long entry queue — we did that around 4 times in a row with literally no wait.

Per the Disney World web site, the starting price (for advance purchase) before tax for after hours events is $125. No thanks. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/after-hours/?CMP=ILC-DPFY19Q4wo0815190041A

Walt’s dream of a place average American families can go to enjoy quality time together has been perverted by the greed of a particular tribe. He’s spinning in his grave. Literally bend over and open your wallet, suckers!

So, will the park close early on these days? Normally, the Magic Kingdom is open past 7 pm.

It’s generally after park close. When we went in the summer it was 11pm — 2am. Looks like the January dates are from 8pm — 11pm with park close at 8pm every night of the week even when After Hours isn’t running.
