Welcome to WDWNT’s coverage of D23 Expo 2019! We are on the show floor and here to show you all of the details, concept art, and more that’s on display.
Besides revealing Epcot’s new logo, there are also new logos to accompany each of the new experiences and attractions.
A full line of merchandise is available at the Expo, with boxed pin sets (that white box with the rainbow stripes), tees, and even buttons for sale.
In the merchandise display, you get a glimpse of the concept art that was released as part of the big reveal. We have a full breakdown of each piece of Epcot concept art released here.
The epic wall of logos! So far, we’ve seen the return of classic pavilion logos, like the ones for The Land and The Seas (remember, they aren’t rumored to go anywhere for at least another five years) and Spaceship Earth.
Since these have been released, pretty much every Epcot fan or die-hard in the online Disney community has taken a guess at what each represents, but until they’re properly attributed on Sunday’s Parks panel, it’s anyone’s guess, with the exception of maybe the Journey of Water attraction and the Play Pavilion.
New Epcot Pavilion Logos
Journey of Water
This looks analogous to the Heart of Te Fiti seen in the concept art for the attraction.
Play Pavilion
You can see the logo at the top of the building in the middle of this poster art.
World of Motion
Journey Into Imagination
Spaceship Earth
The Seas
The Land
Well, what do you think of the new logos? What are your predictions as to what each represents? And no, we aren’t getting a Starbucks pavilion logo, although that would be amazing.
I believe the first one you have displayed represents Mission: Space as the bottom portion of the logo is a throwback to Horizons.
More like them sticking it to horizons fans even though we out number the park still into the millions vs the death trap but thats ok take our symbol! At least the restaurant looks fun!
I hope they make Christmas ornaments with the logo’s on them like they did the countries last year. That would be great!!! An EPCOT tree!!
I think the one logo that was thought to look like fireworks can also resemble the columns on the new pavilion with the park on the top. I also think that the one logo with the circles and the star in the middle could be the new Guardians of the Galaxy rollercoaster due to its resemblance to Universe of Energy’s logo.
I’m fairly certain the third logo represents Soarin’ and the fourth represents Frozen Ever After.
