The end of an era has arrived at Epcot.
The final group of Leave a Legacy monoliths will be removed from the park starting on Tuesday, August 6th, when construction walls will go up in the area. The final group is located on the eastern side of Spaceship Earth. (Or on the left side, as you enter the park.)
Guests needing to rent strollers, wheelchairs, and ECV’s will still be able to do so at the rental stand’s current location, which will be accessible via a pathway around the construction site.
Leave a Legacy is currently being removed from its current location as part of the ongoing re-imagining of Epcot, including a refreshed entrance. This new entrance will include a new location for Leave a Legacy, expected to be revealed next year. Guests will be able to view enhanced photos along with a new locating system for those looking for specific tiles.

First Phase of Leave A Legacy Monolith Removal to Begin This Weekend at Epcot
Another Disney “Stick it to you”……so much for all the folks who spent big hard earned dollars in the “Leave a Legacy”. Hopefully a lesson was learned. That’s really sad in my opinion that Disney would do such a thing. Guess everyone needs to read the “fine print” next time.
They are moving them just outside the park entrance so they can still be seen 😊
“This new entrance will include a new location for Leave a Legacy, expected to be revealed next year.” I guess commenters need to read the article.
You do realize they are being put in a new location right? And people were told up front they would only be guaranteed until the year they were keeping them. Besides that, Leave a Legacy was an eyesore and caused congestion in the entrance area.
