Disney recently made the change to MyDisneyExperience that now allows for Resort guests and Annual Passholders to upgrade their complimentary MagicBand to a premium MagicBand. Now, they’ve announced an exclusive Premium MagicBand that is specifically for Resort guests looking to sport something a little more decorative around the parks.
Introducing the pre-arrival exclusive, Castle MagicBand. The band is solid light blue, decorated with simple castle and fireworks designs all over it. Resort guests have the opportunity to pre-order the band for $20, which is about $10 less than what a Premium MagicBand normally runs for on shopDisney or in stores around Walt Disney World Resort property.
No word yet on if this MagicBand will be available to Annual Passholders looking to upgrade to something a little nicer for their complimentary MagicBand. Seeing as it is a pre-order exclusive, there is a chance the band will become available the regular-old retail way after an undetermined time, so we’ll keep an eye out for what happens.

Thought about upgrading but how do we know when the preorder bands will be here. Don’t want to order it today if I can’t have it for my upcoming trip.
