PHOTOS: Astro Orbiter Finally Reopens After Lengthy Unplanned Refurbishment at the Magic Kingdom

Everyone’s favorite cosmic themed spinner attraction is back in operation. Astro Orbiter resumes normal operation after being closed for months for unknown reasons.

Just this morning, the attraction was still closed, but seeing Cast Members there turned out to be a sign of good things to come, as the rockets are back in orbit:

Our reporters in Magic Kingdom spotted the attraction running despite Disney’s official app and website saying the attraction is still “temporarily closed”.

  1. Has anyone gone up there to take photos without going on the ride? I like taking photos from high up, but I’m not too crazy about being on a ride that’s high up.
