REVIEW: Joffrey’s Frozen Matcha Green Tea at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk (Royal Anandapur Tea Company) in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom recently introduced a Frozen Matcha Green Tea beverage. This limited-time offering costs $5.69 plus tax and can only be found at the Asia Joffrey’s Coffee location (not the kiosk in front of the park). Without further ado, let’s try this new beverage!

Frozen Matcha Green Tea is available as an option on the Disney Dining Plan.

Despite however appetizing this artsy photo in front of Expedition Everest makes the Frozen Matcha Green Tea look, it is a hard pass in our book. The frozen concoction tastes like a grassy milkshake, which may be appetizing for some of the animal residents of this theme park, but was not our cup of tea.

Those that enjoy that flavor profile or other matcha green tea beverages may enjoy the frozen refreshment this beverage offers, but you’d need to have a palate for such beverages.

If you do decide to try this offering, it is available for a limited time at the Royal Anandapur Tea Company at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
