Welcome to another beautiful day here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s going to be a day full of eating, drinking, and shopping (my three favorite things!)
There’s plenty of great Disney Skyliner merchandise still available inside Mickey’s of Hollywood.
Inside the park, we stopped by Animation Courtyard. Most of the buildings in this area have been painted this new darker color, with just a tiny patch visible going backstage. Unfortunately, the poles near the entrance to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid already have chipping paint, exposing the old color underneath.
Over in Galaxy’s Edge, the Milk Stand damage looks like it’s possibly on its way to being repaired.
Over at the Droid Depot, the backpacks are back in stock.
New Frozen 2 Alex and Ani bracelets are available from Legends of Hollywood. The gold bracelet with double sided charm features Anna and Elsa for $49.99. The silver bracelet has an Olaf charm for $44.99.
Some new T-Shirts have shown up at Once Upon A Time on Sunset Boulevard. They’re $24.99 each, or $22 each when you buy two or more. We spotted Jack Jack, Zero, and Pizza Planet shirts on the back wall of the store.
Over in Animation Courtyard, this cute Princess Squad backpack is available for $34.99. The sequins look nice, and the glitter in the clear pocket is fun, but it’s a little expensive for a kid’s backpack.
If you’ve made it this far, then I deserve a drink. The Witches Brew, with green poison apple glow cube, can be found from the cart near the entrance to Animation Courtyard. The Full Moon can be found on Sunset Boulevard from Sunshine Day Bar, and comes with a red poison apple glow cube.
The brick facade is an interesting choice for this location. This project across from Baseline Tap House has been taking a while to finish.
Spotted this sign with a Hei Hei safety reminder in one of the food locations.
The “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” billboard looks better with the dark sky behind it.
We tried the new Halloween desserts around the park! You can find the Candy Corn Verine from Catalina Eddie’s and the Graveyard Worms ‘n’ Dirt Verine can be found at Rosie’s All-American Cafe or Backlot Express.
Over at Starbucks, you can try the new Poison Apple Mousse, but it will turn your tongue black. There’s chocolate mousse, caramel mousse, and apple filing all rolled into a ball and served on a cookie. A woman walked by me eating this and said it looked sinful. She was right.
There’s also a ton of new vegan plant-based offerings around the park. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the vegan “totchos” from Woody’s Lunch Box. We also loved the vegan sausage from PizzeRizzo and the Southwest Bowl from Fairfax Fare.
Now that we’ve eaten everything in sight, it’s time for me to go home and fall asleep at my desk, much like Dok-Ondar. Thanks for following us around Hollywood Studios today!
